Pattern Work
Moving from fine art to digital art was quite different to get use to, but I really am enjoying it more! I first started off experimenting with different patterns and small sketches and slowly got the hang of the software and what to do.
Vector Artwork
After looking at many digital artwork styles, I came across vector art and was immediately hooked. This inspired me to create my artwork in an edgy and sophisticated way which involves using block coloures and shapes. I've also been into creating artwork with neutral coloures for a professional look aswell as to incorporate text in some pieces which would look perfect on a product like a poster or postcard.
Vector Artwork
Here are some of the pieces I have done using a vector style. Alot of my artwork is inspired by fashion, famous celebrities and helping people to stay motivated through positive quotes I put alongside my illustrations. During lock-down, it was an

After strengthening my skills and learning more on the Adobe software, I have managed to expand my followers and also build strong networks with artist across the world.
I then decided to create customizable Starbucks cups using a Cricut Joy to cut out my designs to expand my Etsy range.
Here are some examples of couple vectors which was one of my Etsy product ideas.
As my design account is inspired by celebrities, positivity and fashion, I created some vectors of some of my fashion influences.
One of my vector portraits of a fashion Youtuber called ThreadsObsessed, got recognized in which she followed me on Instagram!

I also did my first portrait of 2023, of an alternative fashion influencer, Chia. I love her aesthetic, and how we both share the same interests with the same bands we like. She noticed my artwork, and reposted to her story with over 21K followers.

Brand Identity:
One of my biggest challenges as a designer is brand identity. I'm slowly building my skills and knowledge on how to build a band from scratch. Social media accounts such as 'The Brief Club' and 'The Brand Brief' set weekly briefs to have a go at. It's also beneficial to look at other peoples work and to see the type of design styles that are out there.
Design concept, planning and process...
One of my favourite briefs when starting to look at building a brand is 'Taylor's Bouquets' which is a small florist business who delivers fresh, good quality flower bouquets locally where I live. This is a re-brand concept design idea. Taking inspiration from her photographs of her work, it then inspire me to generate a mood board of the possible design styles I could use. The minimalist approach is what I went for, which contrasts well with the simple design drawings of flowers, giving it a home-made and warm feel to the branding. The colours also work really well with each other, using a rich green to represent the earthy feel, beige to give a lighter touch and white which conveys modern and a clean minimalist look.
After creating a logo and figuring out the selected colours for the design, I then looked at specific mock-ups to use. A business card for any business is essential, tissue paper and sticker for the packaging alongside a flower carrier for the floral bouquets. This packaging is also designed to be easily recycled, having less impact than other plastic wrapping that you see on flower bouquet products, especially in supermarkets and other premium florist businesses.
Dream Coast Cosmetics:
Dream Coast Cosmetics is another self initiated brand, promoting natural, cruelty free products. This range includes oil syrups, night creams to everyday make-up products like mascara and foundation. The brand emphasises on the 'Hydrate, Revitalize and Refresh' your skin, which is aimed at individuals aged 20+, as part of their skin care routine. The illustrations add to the dreamy and cosmic feel to the packaging which indicates sleep and dreams. I also designed a PR subscription box, which has becoming increasingly popular as people want products which are tailored to them.
Sugar & Spice Beauty:
Over Christmas, I began to feel inspired by the extravagant Christmas themed packaging in cosmetic stores and decided to create a brand which has seasonal packaging just for the Christmas period. Sugar & Spice Beauty is aimed at customers who are 18+, who are looking for the perfect gift for family or friends. The packaging is designed to have a girly, fun party feel, with Christmas illustrations and pops of colour throughout the design.
The eyeshadow pallet includes 12 festive coloured and a two in one function with highlighter, making it convenient for customers to carry it around two products in one. The 12 eyeshadow shades are inspired by Christmas, with warm browns to pops of bold colours.
I created the palette in Adobe Dimension, which was really useful to build my skills and knowledge within the software. I also experimented with different textures, looking at different materials for things such as the aluminium metal in the interior of the palette.
Album Cover Designs:
I love designing album covers for my favourite bands like the 'Arctic Monkeys', 'Catfish and the Bottlemen' and 'Oasis'. Using five main colours for each design, it enabled me to experiment using a limited colour palette. I used Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop where I was able to adjust the style of the images by experimenting with different effects and textures. When searching for fonts, I was inspired by the retro, bold typefaces.
