Hello! I'm Kara-Jo and I studied Graphic Design BA (Hons) at Sheffield Hallam University and graduated in November 2023. Growing up in Yorkshire, the beauty of the surrounding natural landscapes, intricate architecture, with the complementing urban twist inspired my passion for art.
After studying Art at GCSE and at A level, I specialised in Graphic Design as a way to branch out my creative skills through a digital form of art. I'm a huge film enthusiast and love to promote positivity through illustrative quotes which is reflected in my work on my design account karluna_graphics on Instagram, which have attracted over 1,000 followers, artists and brands.
With a solid educational background in Graphic Design, it's helped me with with freelance opportunities and collaborations with other artists to develop an all inclusive community which is one of my key values.
I'm also enthusiastic about photography, exploring many artistic genres to bring to life the character and hidden stories of the people and places around us.

While studying, I worked in various Classroom Assistant roles and became a Lifeguard with Sheffield International Venues. The strong customer focus gained through my experience and ability to connect with different people, defines the professional and personalised services I offer my freelance graphic design and photography clients. I take pride in my work and care about my customers.
